Soumee is a seasoned corporate lawyer with about two decades of experience offering practical legal solutions to a wide range of clients.

Prior to founding Bombay Juris, she has served as the Head-Legal and General Counsel for a private sector bank in India and has also held various other senior in-house leadership positions in leading private sector banks and fintech companies.

During her professional journey, she has advised several Fortune 500, large, mid-sized and start-up organizations in India and abroad and led various high-value deals and commercial transactions, investments and fundraisings keeping the best interest of her clients at the core in every situation. Soumee has also worked extensively with regulators and industry associations to bring about positive changes in the Indian regulatory space through thought leadership. She is a speaker at various industry forums and is frequently quoted in the media by the likes of Financial Express, NDTV profit, Economic Times, Zee Business and Times of India.
